• What is this retreat?

A 7–day immersion in painting practice with acrylics at Finca Miraflores, La Palma.

• Who is the retreat for?

The retreat welcomes both complete beginners and experienced painters. No previous experience is required — just curiosity and the wish to explore or deepen your practice.​​

​

• In what language does the retreat take place?

The main language of the retreat is English. If needed, I can also provide personal support in German for clarification. My Spanish is conversational, but not sufficient to explain painting techniques.

• What will I learn?

You’ll learn the practical steps for painting realistically with acrylics, and at the same time how to bring the unseen into form — expressing vision, mystic atmosphere, and inner inspiration through your art.

• What is the daily rhythm?

Each day includes two teaching blocks of about three hours, while the studio remains open for your own painting during free time. You’re also invited to connect with nature in and around the finca, or simply take time for yourself. The days balance instruction, guided exercises, and space to develop your own work. One afternoon mid-course is kept free.

• How many participants are in the group?

Maximum 8 participants. Small, intimate groups make it possible to keep the atmosphere focused and safe, while ensuring that everyone receives personal attention.

• Where does the retreat take place?

At Eco-Finca Miraflores in La Palma, Canary Islands — a beautiful and quiet setting with lush gardens and open views, offering space for intensive work and contemplation. The venue’s philosophy of conscious, sustainable living is in harmony with the depth and presence of the retreat.

• What about accommodation & meals?

Eco- Finca Miraflores provides cozy double rooms with shared bathrooms.
Meals are freshly prepared each day — wholesome vegetarian dishes, with adjustments possible for dietary needs.

• Do I need to bring materials?

No — all the art supplies you’ll need are provided. If you have favorite brushes, paints or tools that you’re comfortable with, you’re welcome to bring them along.​​​​

​

• How do I join?
